White Gables can be found in a very convenient, semi rural location, just off the M4 motorway on the main Highcross Road at Rogerstone, South Wales, Junction 27. Fifteen miles from the Severn Bridge.
We have many local attractions all within less than a thirty minute drive which range from the picturesque countryside of the Wye Valley, the fantastic mountain views of the Brecon Beacons, Historic Caerleon Amphitheatre, St Fagans Welsh Folk Museum, Big Pit mining museum. An abundance of Castles, Golf Courses, Fishing Lakes, Beaches and Community Farms. Shopping at Cardiff City centre (our local Rogerstone Afon Village Train Station with free car parking has trains on the hour to Cardiff City Centre, 25 minute journey, where one can also find Cardiff Castle and Grounds in the Main Centre, National Musuem of Wales. Cardiff Bay where one can find the Millenium Centre,Techniquest and the National Ice Skating Rink. 15 minutes to Roath Park and Boating Lake, 5 minutes to Tredegar House and Country Park, or maybe a 5 minute walk around the corner to a working lock and canal centre where bikes can be hired for trips along the Monmouthshire Brecon canal. If you are an enthusiastic cyclist you may wish to try several mountain bike runs, with a unique uplift service, which you will find at our local Cwmcarn Scenic Drive

White Gables is a very large detached, 6 bedroomed executive property completed in 2008. It has a private electric gated entrance with parking for at least 12 vehicles. The property boasts an indoor heated swimming pool with a constant depth of 4.5ft, a jacuzi, a 50ft x 18ft full size bar / entertainment room, complimented by a full size snooker table and dart run with disco lighted dancing area + more. Steam is a fantastic holistic therapy ideal for children and adults who suffer with asthma.
Its a very big house and with its 6 bedrooms can sleep 18 adults, plus at a request, can also accomodate extra small children and babies. It is the perfect house for luxury self catering breaks for several families or groups of friends to get together or perhaps you are looking to celebrate a special occasion such as a 40th birthday party. We have something for everyone. White Gables will not disappoint.
We have an enormous kitchen/dining/family room/bar which is open plan and measures 43ft x 17ft and is absolutely fabulous for entertaining with a new central table to seat 20+ people altogether for that special occasion meal, ( we can offer caterers for quality homemade in house cooking ), plus extra comfortable luxury leather sofas + bar and cocktail table with stools, with a 50 inch Plasma TV which opens out onto the private patio / garden area with various tables, chairs and benches. We also have a decked area with summer house which provides a safe play area for small children.
As you open the double doors to White Gables you are greeted by an open central staircase with gallery landing, feature coving and a beautiful chandalier.
The property has underfloor heating, 6 bathrooms and 2 cloakrooms. It also has another luxury lounge which measures 22ft x 13ft, fitted with a large luxury leather cream corner sofa suite and another 50 inch Plasma True HD Panasonic TV.
